Individual Project Administration and Support Systems Project Management This system has features which allow a Charter, or an individual campaign, to create a project calendar to let Freedom Network members know what is coming up. The Chairperson of an individual Freedom Network Charter (FNC) can add events to the Freedom Network project calendar system and that system will automatically alert all members within their charter, or hierachially lower charters, of the event. When the event is listed in the calendar, all members who have selected to recieve alerts will be emailed about that event. At that time, the charter member can choose to participate in the event (if applicable), choose to be reminded 1 week before the event takes place, or choose to not be reminded about that event again. This will allow a Charter Chairperson the ability to see how many members within their charter are interested in the event, how many are willing to assist immediately, how many people are interested but not enough to assist immediately, and how many people are not interested in the event at all. Charter members who designate that they are interested in assisting with any Project will automatically have their information passed on to their Chapter Chairperson, who can then contact them as needed. Project Calendar The project calendar itself can be used for either Chapter-based projects or individual Campaign-based projects. In either case, a searchable online project calendar will be made available so that any member can find out what is happening, what is about to happen, and what is planned for the future in campaigns and Charters. Project Assistance Once a project is added to the system, it becomes a part of the Freedom Network search engine. If a Freedom Network member searches for projects within their city, county, state, etc location, they will see a list of all projects that match their search criteria. If a Freedom Network member is informed of, or finds a project on the Project Calendar system that they are willing to participate in or assist with in any way, that member can fill out a breif form (basically a 'what I can help with' text box) and the information will be passed on to the Chapter Chairperson or Campaign that is conducting the project.
