Groups and Networks
Political Networking is the phrase used in discussions and media everywhere these days, yet real Political Networking systems are either non-existant, or so expensive that they are unavailable to the individual citizen who needs them so much. OurFreedomNetwork.com provides with a low-cost, easy to use, no long-term investment (or up front fee) system that answers the need for a true 'network'.
Members of OFN can join together, using this system, to form Groups. Groups can then join together to form Networks. Technically, a 'Group' is a network - but the true power of OFN is evident when Groups combine to form Networks of users. Imagine getting only 3 people who want to do research on, or advance an issue. Those 3 form a group.
Imagine that there are 3 people in each county in a state who form similar groups. And then those groups form across the entire country.
Using the OFN system, those like-minded and similarly oriented groups can find one another, and form a network of hundreds - if not thousands, or tens of thousands - of members.
Groups and Networks can be joined to work on projects, campaigns, organization, or any other task that requires the power of many, rather than the voice of a few.
Events Calendar
The OFN Events Calendar system puts upcoming event information and schedules at the fingertips of Local, County, State and National chapters. Whether an event is as small as a local town hall meeting, or as large as a national convention, the details and optional RSVP reservation systems are easily promoted and announced through the Events Database on OFN.
All members of the OFN community can add event information into the Events Database, and they can do it at no charge.
Polling
Finding out the pulse of a group, or the majority opinions on any subject is an easy task using the polling system. OFN provides yes/no, ranking 1 to 10, and multiple choice polling systems that can be targeted at specific audiences within your OFN Chapters, discussion groups, groups and networks.
Polling results can be set up to display only after the polling dates have ended, or optionally displayed in realtime - to allow members to view results as they come in.
Campaigns
A quality, full featured campaign web site can easily cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to set up and maintain. With the OFN system, for a one-time fee of $95 a candidate gets the 'standard pages' usually found on a campaign site, a choice of upscale and browser-friendly site layouts, plus optional discussion forums, self propogating blogs, polling systems and (most importantly) immediate access to the power of their fellow members of OFN.
No monthly upkeep charges. No administration fees. No hosting fees. No problems.
Forums
Each local, county, state and national Chapter within the OFN system has it's own private discussion forum. OFN also has an all-access members forum, as well as a public forum. Groups and Networks within the OFN system also have the option to create a discussion forum for themselves as well.
So, finding someone to discuss or debate politics, or just finding some friends to chat with, isn't too hard here at OFN.
Project Systems
The Project system built into OurFreedomNetwork is a breakthrough technology that allows members to work together toward a common goal. But the true power of the Project system is in it's ability to let people learn from other's experiences.
When a project is started, there is an obvious 'goal' in mind that the project is for. As the project progresses, participants can provide insight as to what they are doing, why they are doing it, and whether or not they think the project outcome will be a success.
Once the project is completed, the project leader can review the results or outcome of the project, and then provide the OFN system with a 'successful' or 'unsuccessful' grade for the finished project - and provide thier own insight as to what went right, what went wrong, and what they might do differently if they could do it all again.
Members of the OFN community can then use searches and categorized systems to tap into that knowledge. Knowledge that can be used to save time, effort, and even money if a similar project is being considered by someone else.
This software system is intellectual property which is owned by the designer of OurFreedomNetwork, and has been used in medical research projects for over seven years. It has been adapted to suit the needs of this Political Networking system, and should prove to be priceless in value for our members.
