Membership Fees & Campaign Sites
When researching political networking sites and political networking software systems we quickly discovered that the old addage, "You get what you pay for" doesn't apply in any of them. We found free sites that usually contain more advertising and begging for funds than discussions, and we mean no offense to these sites - they're better than the 'nothing' that was the alternative. We found $4.99+ a month sites that amount to nothing more than a discussion forum. We saw tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars for setup/licensing fees, along with thousands of dollars per month for 'upkeep' of more elaborate political networking software solutions, which didn't provide the level of usefulness to qualify those costs.
OFN gives our Members much more, for much less. Our stand is that if we can keep costs to our Members at the lowest level possible, while providing them with tools and systems that are worth far more than the fees, we will get more Members. More Members mean more revenues which we can use to continually improve the services our Members need.

For large organizations and existing political activist groups that want to provide their members with memberships on OFN, our bulk membership plans allow them to decrease the overall cost of using this system. With a savings of up to 35% off of the standard monthly membership fees, our bulk membership plans get more of your members into your OFN Political Network for less cost.
Bulk memberships beyond 100 in quantity can be arranged at even higher amounts of savings for your group. Whether you need individual monthly memberships to provide to your members to get them started, or your group/organization will be providing full yearly memberships, bulk pricing costs less, which leaves more funds in your own treasuries for other needs.

Campaign Websites

Campaign sites can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to set up and maintain. With our system, for a one-time fee of $95 a candidate gets a choice of site layouts, plus optional discussion forums, self propogating blogs, polling systems, and (most importantly) immediate access to the power of their fellow members of OFN.
With a variety of layouts, the ability to point your own domain name (if you have one) to your campaign site, and no monthly upkeep charges to worry about, our campaign sites are economical and practical.
Though OFN does not participate in campaign fundraising tasks, if you intend to use a 3rd-party fundraising application we can usually incorporate it into your campaign site. As our engineers add new features to our system for campaign sites, there will be no additional fees or costs to include them in your campaign site.
There are no time limits or expiration dates on campaign sites. Once you set one up the site will be there to use for the next election, for updating voters between election cycles, and for as long as OFN exists - with no additional fees involved.
Any active OFN Member can create a campaign site. The tools to create, monitor, edit and interact with a campaign site are located under the 'campaigns' header of the Your Freedom Desktop application.
